SF6 Zero emission
The gas sampled for testing is stored in an internal tank
The gas is compressed and returned to the original compartment
densiSCAN is a portable, automatic system for calibrating densistat switching thresholds. Densistats, also known as densimeters or pressure switches, are used to monitor the density of SF6 gas in high and extra-high voltage circuit breakers, as well as in metal-enclosed compartments GIS. If SF6 density falls, the efficiency of these devices can be reduced, leading to arcing and power cuts
The densiSCAN calibrator enables maintenance operators to simulate a drop in density in order to check that the thresholds – up to 3 thresholds – are correctly triggered, and that alarms are reported. At the end of the verification cycle, the densiSCAN produces a ticket a forgery-proof report including trip pressures, date, time, station name, start name, cell name and phase number of the device under test (DUT). Of course, the printed information is also stored in internal memory, even in the event of an untimely power cut
