The portable humidity calibrator. Generate any RH, on the bench or on site.
A new setpoint in about 30 seconds. No liquid water.
Calibrate 7 probes of any brand against a traceable reference.
The HG-101 is a portable relative-humidity generator: it produces a known, stable humidity so you can calibrate humidity sensors, probes, transmitters, data-loggers and recorders from any manufacturer — in the lab or on site, against an ISO 17025 traceable reference.

Every humidity sensor drifts. A logger that reads 45 %rh when the air is really 50 %rh quietly biases a batch record, a clean-room release, a storage decision. Calibration is the only way to know what a reading is worth.
And it has to be done against a known, stable reference humidity — held long enough to read every probe. That is exactly what the HG-101 produces, on demand, from 2 to 98 %rh.
Ask the HG-101 for a value and it gets there fast. The patented RDSa rotary-dilution system blends dry and moist air in a closed loop — so a step from 20 to 80 %rh settles inside ±0.1 %rh in about thirty seconds, with no pump and no waiting hours for a salt solution to equilibrate.

The HG-101 circulates its own air over a regenerable silica-gel desiccant and dilutes it to the humidity you asked for — there is no liquid-water reservoir to fill, spill or contaminate.
The desiccant is economical and simply reactivated in an oven at 130 °C. Nothing to empty, dry or clean between runs — so you can lay it flat, tilt it, carry it, and run a full day of calibrations.

The standard HG-101-CH7 cell holds 7 probes (adapters for 10–24 mm, up to 30 mm diameter). Interchangeable ports and a replaceable measuring chamber accept sensors, probes, transmitters, data-loggers and recorders from any manufacturer — even loggers with integrated sensors.
A mixed fleet is calibrated in one run, against the same reference humidity. Other cell configurations are available on request.

Not every hygrometer is a probe you can slide into a port. Data-loggers and recorders carry the sensor inside the instrument — so the SET132 adds a large CH132 measuring chamber that takes the whole device into the controlled humidity.
The logger is calibrated exactly as it is used, without dismantling anything. Need both worlds? The SET-COMBO pairs the CH132 chamber with the 7-port probe cell.

The HG-101 controls to your setpoint with a built-in RH probe supplied with a COFRAC or SCS traceable ISO 17025 calibration certificate. For the lowest uncertainty, pair it with an MBW 473-RP2 chilled-mirror reference — its head drops straight into a 30 mm port.
USB and the free Windows / Android software drive setpoint sequences (up to 10 points, dwell times, ramps); MBW Gecko applies certificate corrections automatically.

Any relative-humidity instrument: sensors, probes, transmitters, data-loggers and recorders, from any manufacturer. Interchangeable ports and a replaceable measuring chamber fit most instrument types, including loggers with integrated sensors.
About 30 seconds to reach and hold a new setpoint (a step from 20 to 80 %rh), thanks to the patented RDSa rotary-dilution system — versus hours for saturated-salt methods. Over the full 2 to 98 %rh range, extended stabilisation gives the best performance.
No liquid-water reservoir. It runs on a closed circulation loop with a regenerable silica-gel desiccant, so it works in any position, needs no draining, drying or cleaning between uses, and is ready as soon as it is powered up.
